today a woman called me and started asking me about my education background.

she then asked me if i was interested in getting a second opinion on my resume.

Heider: Oh sure. Why not?
Stranger on the phone: So what industry are y...
H: Wait. At what cost?! (For some reason I was stupid enough to think that they'd do it for free!)
S: Ummmm. Could I send you an email about that?
H: Oh okay, sure.
S: So, Heider, what industry would you like to work in?
H: I don't really have a preference.
S: So you would be interested in working in the finance industry.
H: Oh, except that. hur hur.
S: Oh. ha ha ha ha. Umm...so I'll send you an email with more information about our services then?
H: Okay. But before you do, where did you get my number?
S: Ohhhhh. (getting nervous) Ummm...we did a survey at your school before.
H: Oh but I didn't take part in any surveys.
S: Ummm. It was two years ago.
H: I definitely did not do any surveys two years ago.
S: Ummm...uhhhhh...
H: It's okay. I'll wait for your email.

i probably shouldn't put people in a tough spot like that but i'd like to know who's been selling my information. i don't think it's my school though. the only career consulting company i saw and left my details with was not the one who called.

i was asking wilson why it was a hammer and he said because workers used hammers. well, they use other tools too! why is a hammer more special than sayyy, a screwdriver? hmm? if i were in the WP, i'd use a tool box in my logo.
